LUDLOW, Ky. -- John Winkle loves a lot of things about his hometown.

He loves the river city's proximity to Downtown. He loves the historic feel of the homes and streets. And he loves Jeff and John Winkle Studio, the space he and his brother create in on Elm Street.

He and Jeff even made the small town its very own logo, which reads "Small towns have soul."

"The logo that we've done ... the trains just represent what Ludlow is all about historically," John said.

The logo also nods to KY-8, a well known Northern Kentucky roadway that runs parallel to the Ohio River.

John has a background in fine arts, and Jeff studied graphic design. The pair merge their talents to create unique art pieces that portray the Tri-State in a fresh light.

Jennifer Ketchmark caught up with the duo during her latest edition of Katch Ketchmark, where she spotlights different cities in Greater Cincinnati.
