A northern Kentucky police officer drew his gun and fired at a suspect who drove their vehicle into the officer's cruiser, officials said.
According to the Kenton County Police Department, the officer tried to pull over a vehicle suspected of running from another police agency around 10 p.m. Monday night. After a short chase the driver and vehicle stopped.

It's not known whether the officer injured the driver or not. No suspect information has been released at this time.
The case is under investigation.
