INDEPENDENCE, Ky. -- A 36-year-old man died Wednesday night in a two-car crash on Taylor Mill Road near Stephens Road, police said.
Peter Dance, of Independence, was driving southbound in the 10700 block of Taylor Mill Road at about 10 p.m. Wednesday when he lost control of his 2009 Hyundai Sonata and crossed over the center line. Police said he struck a 2015 Scion driven by 34-year-old David Penn, of Independence.
Emergency crews pronounced Dance dead at the scene. Penn was flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Taylor Mill Road was closed for about five hours, reopening just before 3 a.m. Thursday.
