ERLANGER. KY. — A 15-year-old male student at St. Henry High School was arrested Thursday after threatening other students in two social media posts, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
The student was arrested at school in the morning and told deputies that he posted the threats on Snapchat Wednesday night because other students were being mean to his friends.
The first message showed a pistol with a caption, “yall really want to talk [expletive] pull up then,” according to a sheriff’s office release. Deputies later confirmed that the student didn’t possess a gun at school or have access to guns at home.
The second message showed a pocket knife with a caption, “You will get stabbed fake people are snitches.” The student admitted having the pocket knife on school property, and school administrators confiscated it from his locker.
The student was charged with terroristic threatening 2nd Degree, a Class D felony, and was jailed at the Campbell Juvenile Detention Center.
