There is currently a bomb threat in the area of Orphanage and Dixie. We have all the intersections and businesses shut down and there is to be no foot traffic in the area until further notice.
Nader said there was a suspected grenade in the mailbox. After removal from the bomb squad, the item was identified as an inert grenade, which means it contained no explosives or working parts.
Police secured the scene and roads would be reopening after police cleared.
Nader said the FBI will continue to investigate the threat with the postal service's assistance.
