COVINGTON, Ky. -- Covington offered classes in first aid and CPR for pets Saturday.
Veterinary experts shared their skills with firefighters and paramedics from agencies across the Tri-State. Some of the first responders were surprised by how familiar it was.
"We were able to take a lot of skills that they already had and apply them to animals, and they were just so surprised that they could do all those same things," said Rachel Halpin with MedVet Cincinnati.
