KENTON COUNTY, Ky. -- Authorities have arrested three people who are accused of helping an ex-fugitive avoid arrest, according to Kenton County Commonwealth's Attorney Rob Sanders.
Krista Cortez, John Wayne Linville and Aaron Peeno face charges of hindering apprehension in connection with helping Jacob Julick evade arrest, Sanders said.
Until he was captured Tuesday night, 27-year-old Julick had spent 19 days evading arrest after he shot at two Lakeside Park-Crestview Hills police officers in Erlanger on June 6, police said.
Julick also led a Covington police officer on a pursuit on Saturday and attempted to ram her car head on, according to court documents.
Julick is charged with three counts of attempted murder of a police officer, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Sanders is also adding persistent felony offender, which means Julick could face life in prison if convicted.
A judge on Thursday issued Julick a $1 million bond.
