One man dead after crash in Highland County

One man is dead after a crash in Highland County at around 9:19 a.m. Saturday morning.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 65-year-old Kelly Knauff of Seaman, Ohio, was driving a 2003 Ford Ranger west on New Market Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.

After Knauff hit the other vehicle, both vehicles went off the road. Knauff was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Wilmington post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash, but no charges or indication of fault have been released for the driver of the Silverado.
