WOODLAWN, Ohio -- A fire that damaged a bar early Sunday appears to have started in the kitchen area, Woodlawn's fire chief said.
Someone reported smoke coming from Pike Bar and Grill, on Springfield Pike near Grove Road, at about 5 a.m.
Woodlawn firefighters quickly put out the fire. They got help from Forest Park, Wyoming and Woodlawn.

No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
"This an historical place for Woodlawn, too, as well, and many other communities that come here. So we want to make sure the owners are back on their feet, and we're going to do everything we can to get them back up and running," Woodlawn Fire Chief Amos Johnson said.
There was no immediate estimate on the cost of damages.
