Hamilton County officials on Wednesday reported the area’s largest-ever week-over-week increase in COVID-19 cases. At 782 new diagnoses, the total was a steep increase from the 398 new cases detected the week before and more than four times as large as the number recorded in the first week of June.
Hamilton County Commissioner Denise Driehaus promised the imminent appearance of more National Guard-run testing sites open to all county residents, regardless of their age, health status or occupation.
In the meantime, the county has an online tool you can use to find a testing site in your area.
Hamilton County Public Health created a digital map listing all testing sites in the area, including information about who can be tested at each spot and whether they need to have an appointment in advance.
Public health officials will maintain the map as the pandemic continues, adding new locations and removing those that end testing.
