The brother said the teen disappeared in the water, sheriff’s spokesman David Daughtery said. They were trying to swim cross in Camp Dennison Park.
The teen had been reported missing from Camp Dennison Memorial Park, 7600 Glendale Milford Road, about 7:30 p.m.
Crews stopped looking in the river overnight, but the teen is still subject of a missing person alert.
