MONTGOMERY, Ohio — Children with life-threatening illnesses will strut the runway Friday night in Sycamore High School's 13th annual Fashion for the Cure which benefits the Dragonfly Foundation.
High school students and young patients will show off the latest fashion trends from local boutiques and original pieces created by Sycamore High School fashion design students, according to a district spokesperson.
The goal is to raise $30,000 for Dragonflies, the local children supported by the foundation. The event raised $25,000 last year.
In addition to the show, there is a silent auction and a raffle.
Tickets are available at the door for $20. The event takes place at Sycamore High School at 7400 Cornell Road in Montgomery. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
