SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Police report that a missing 13-year-old girl from Greenhills was found safe riding a Metro bus Friday afternoon.
Police had referred to the teen as an endangered missing person. The girl ran away from her home near Winton Woods Park about 3 a.m. Friday, according to Greenhills police.
Park rangers and police spent much of the day searching the park for her. At one point in their 12-hour search, three water rescue units were called to Winton Lake.
Police took the girl to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. They could not provide a report on her condition.
