SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A man shot a woman and then, after a police pursuit, himself late Friday night.

Police were called to Tag Drive at about 9:55 p.m. They found 21-year-old Kenesha Moore, of Fairfield, dead of multiple gunshot wounds.

The gunman reportedly drove away, according to Springfield Township police. Officers found his abandoned car shortly afterward, on Adams Road.

A canine officer tracked the man to Ripplebrook Drive.

After officers ordered him to drop his handgun, he shot himself, police said. He survived the shot, and paramedics took him to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The suspect's name and medical condition have not been released, and he's not been charged.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Springfield Township Police Department at 513-729-1300.
