HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio — A woman is dead after a Friday night shooting in Silverton, according to Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil.
Cincinnati police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Montgomery Road near Coleridge where they found a woman inside a crashed car suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said 38-year-old Ebony Hedges was parked near the 6800 block of Montgomery Road when a man approached her, firing several times into her car. She then drove south on Montgomery Road before crashing a short time later.
The unknown man then fled on foot northbound on Montgomery Road, according to police.
