SHARONVILLE, Ohio — A local pastor is facing new sex charges involving another underage girl, and this time he's been charged federally.

Police received a new complaint about Cesar A. Guerrero, pastor at Misión Cristiana El Calvario, after he appeared in county court Aug. 7 to answer charges that that he coerced a 17-year-old girl into oral sex, authorities said.

A new federal complaint against the 41-year-old Guerrero, unsealed Wednesday, alleges that Guerrero sexually assaulted another girl on more than one occasion, beginning when she was 14, according to U.S. Attorney Benjamin Glassman.

Guerrero allegedly told the second victim to show him how she kissed her boyfriend before assaulting her and telling her if she was a child of God she would obey him. Guerrero sexually assaulted the second victim on another occasion at his home, the complaint says.

Guerrero was arrested last week on state charges and was transferred to federal custody Wednesday.

Coercing a minor is a federal crime punishable by a mandatory minimum 10 years and up to life in prison, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's office.
