READING, Ohio -- An 18-year-old man was arrested Monday after his social media threat forced the closure of all Reading Community Schools, according to Hamilton County court documents.
Scott Napier, 18, "did cause serious public inconvenience" by "threatening to shoot up Reading High School," an affidavit reads. The officer who arrested him also discovered marijuana and a pipe on Napier's person when he was apprehended, according to the document.
Napier now faces charges of inducing panic, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At a hearing Tuesday, he entered a not-guilty plea. A judge set his bond at $100,000; he can be released if he posts 10 percent of that amount. He also would need to be under electronic monitoring.
Reading Schools announced on Twitter that all schools in the district would be closed Tuesday as a safety measure in response to Napier's threat.
All Reading Schools are closed on February 27, 2018. A threat was made on social media this evening, and as a precaution, the district was advised by local law enforcement to close school. This will allow police time to investigate and ensure the safety of our students and staff.

"As a precaution, the district was advised by local law enforcement to close school," the tweet read. "This will allow police time to investigate and ensure the safety of our students and staff."
Lt. Terry Zimmerman, with the Reading Police Department, said there's no indication anyone else was involved, and there were no additional threats to the school.
