NORWOOD, Ohio — Even though temperatures are hovering around freezing, some restaurants are still offering people the option to eat outside.
Taste of Belgium in Rookwood is offering indoor seating, but they also have a tent set up outside, which expands their capacity and lets people socially distance.
Their tent isn't a party tent you'd see at a summer wedding, though, with open flaps. This tent almost looks like a greenhouse, and there are heaters set up inside it to keep customers warm.
"It's a fun place to be," Jean-Francois Flechet, the owner of Taste of Belgium, said. "You're almost eating in an atrium. We hope we can keep it open... I'm going to see with the tent rental company if there's any way of adding another heater to pump some more hot air in here."
The setup is expensive, but Flechet said the safety aspect for customers outweighs the cost.
