CINCINNATI -- Mike Muse is dedicated to making Norwood the best neighborhood it can be, and he's willing to put his elbow grease where his mouth is.
"We're just surrounded by neighborhoods that are thriving, yet we just sit here, and I'm not a fan of that," he said. "So while I'm here, I'll just do what I can to change that."
Every weekend, Muse takes on a project he believes will improve his community. His most recent -- a complete revitalization of a three-lot backyard overtaken by flora -- took a full 10 days to complete.
Muse stepped in to do it, he said, because the property owner simply couldn't.
"It's not a financial thing, here," Muse said. "It's a physical thing. He physically cannot do this, and he does not have any help."
Except for the man willing to wade into the foliage and wrestle with nature himself.
