MOUNT HEALTHY, Ohio — The Mt. Healthy City School District announced Dr. Valerie Hawkins as the district’s new superintendent Thursday evening.
Hawkins has 26 years of experience in public education. She last worked as the director of teaching and learning for secondary at Princeton City Schools.
“The opportunity to serve as Superintendent of Mt. Healthy City Schools is incredibly humbling and exciting,” Hawkins said in a statement. “I look forward to engaging with Mt. Healthy’s staff, students, parents, community members, and alumni. Mt. Healthy City School District is poised for incredible growth as we continue to meet our objectives of Education Destination.”
She previously worked in educational systems in Kentucky, Ohio and Beijing, China.
