Two rescued from car trapped in 'fast moving and rising' Little Miami River

LOVELAND, Ohio -- Loveland-Symmes Fire Department officials rescued two people Tuesday afternoon after their car became trapped on a flooded road near the Little Miami River.

According to a tweet from the fire department, the car was trapped in floodwaters near 230 East Kemper Road, and the river was "fast moving and rising" when at the time the call for rescue went out around 4:30 p.m.. 

Capt. Brian Hall said by 5:30 p.m. both of the car's occupants had been rescued with no injuries. According to Hall, the pair became stuck while attempting to drive through high water.
