Deputies: Attacker fired on, wounded Lincoln Heights couple from outside their home

LINCOLN HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A Lincoln Heights husband and wife were standing in their upstairs bedroom Monday night when a hail of bullets punched through the walls of their home, grazing her and striking him in the back.

The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. at the couple's Congress Avenue house, according to Hamilton County deputies. 

The two victims, 59-year-old Anthony Alexander and his wife, 57-year-old Chirklet Alexander, were hospitalized at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Both were listed in stable condition on Tuesday morning.

Authorities had not identified any suspects by the morning and asked anyone with information about the attack to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
