LINCOLN HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The old Lincoln Heights elementary school building on Lindy Avenue was hit by arson Tuesday night, officials said.
A 911 call around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday reported flames at the school, which had only minor damage to the front corner hallway, where flames could be seen through the glass of the front doors.
Fire officials said it was "definitely arson," as someone had thrown a chemical accelerant against the front door.
