CINCINNATI -- Whole Foods Market will open its third Cincinnati-area store next month, a spokesperson said on Monday.
Whole Foods will open a 38,000 square-foot store at 9 a.m. on Aug. 29 at 5901 E. Galbraith Road in Kenwood.
Employees will provide the first 200 customers with free coffee from Deeper Roots Coffee, a Whole Foods Market Kenwood reusable canvas tote bag and a savings card with a mystery value between $5 and $100.
The Kenwood store joins the Whole Foods in Norwood and Mason in serving the Cincinnati area.
Store Team Leader Eric Knapke said he’s excited to be a part of the Kenwood community.
“We look forward to providing our customers with high quality food and service and an extensive selection of items that are unique to this area,” Knapke said.
All foods at the store are free of hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners. The Whole Foods will have a wide selection of locally-sourced items, grab-and-go food and organic groceries.
The store will employ about 100 full-time and part-time employees.
