GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Police and Monfort Heights Elementary principal Kaitlyn Randall warned families to be on high alert following a pair of incidents in which children reported a stranger exposing himself in public.
According to a letter Randall sent to Monfort Heights parents on Wednesday, the first incident happened Aug. 20 in a Sam’s Club parking lot only yards away from her school. The man made noise to get nearby students’ attention and then flashed them, she wrote.
Security cameras did not capture a clear image of the suspect or his vehicle, according to Randall. Staff were told to remain vigilant.
On Wednesday, police learned of a similar incident on “a nearby neighborhood street in the Monfort Heights community.” This time, they got a description.
According to officers, the suspect is an older man with light blond or gray hair driving a red hatchback of unknown make.
“If you encounter an incident such as this, document the license plate and report it to Green Township,” Randall urged parents.
