GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Officials are investigating a fire they deemed to be "suspicious."
The fire started in a vacant single-family home on Diehl Road Friday afternoon. Firefighters from Green Township and Cheviot put it out before 4:45 p.m.
"The fire is currently under investigation and is considered suspicious in nature," Green Township Fire and EMS spokesperson Michael Nie wrote in an email to reporters.
There were no reports of injuries, according to Nie.
Diehl Road was closed at Bicentennial Park while first responders worked at the scene. It has since been reopened.
