FOREST PARK, Ohio — A driver hit a 16-year-old boy in Forest Park early Tuesday morning, according to Sheriff Jim Neil.
The driver was traveling westbound on Waycross Road near Geneva Road at about 6:43 a.m. when she hit the teenager, Neil said. The teen was not in a crosswalk.
First responders transported the 16-year-old to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for injuries that are not life threatening.
The driver was not injured, and neither impairment nor speed were factors in the crash, Neil said.
WCPO is not naming the driver because she has not been charged with a crime.
The Sheriff’s Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the crash.
