FOREST PARK, Ohio — A Forest Park woman accused of stabbing her father to death did so because she wanted to take his house, according to court documents.
Authorities say Liscia Willis, 49, planned to kill her father, James Dunlap, "and take over the mortgage on his home” on Raphael Place. Sgt. Franz with Cincinnati Police confirmed Dunlap was a retired Cincinnati Police officer. An obituary for him said he retired in 2002 "with 29 years of service to his country and community."
After stabbing Dunlap to death on Friday, Willis "then began moving her personal belongings into the residence,” according to the affidavit.
Police arrested Willis after they found Dunlap dead in the basement of the home.
Willis, who stands charged with aggravated murder, is set to appear in court Monday morning.
