FAIRFIELD, Ohio — Fairfield police are investigating a threat that a student allegedly made against Fairfield Freshman School on Thursday.
“Our presence at the school will be increased until the investigation has been completed. Further information will be released as it becomes available,” police said Friday morning.
Fairfield City Schools officials said the student that made the alleged threat late Thursday evening is not allowed on campus Friday.
“The district takes any threat to the safety and security of our students and staff very seriously,” school officials said in a message sent to families of students at the freshman school, high school and Compass Elementary.
