SYMMES TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Authorities arrested two women after raids on two massage parlors.
Hamilton County sheriff's deputies were joined by police, FBI, Homeland Security and immigration officials in the raids on Refresh Center on Montgomery Road in Symmes Township and Massage Studio on Montgomery Road in Sycamore Township, Lt. David Daugherty said.
Wang Caixia, 56, and Xiao Xian Han, 46, are each facing charges of prostitution and solicitation, deputies said in a news release.
Authorities had initially detained several other people who claimed they could not speak English, Daugherty said. Investigators brought in interpreters to figure out the roles the detainees played in the operation.
Deputies said the two women were being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center. The case remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
