DEER PARK, Ohio — Police arrested a man after he was accused of approaching young children in a park and making “soliciting” comments.
According to a Hamilton County Municipal Court affidavit, Kevin Paul Gunn, 57, approached a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old in Chamberlin Park in Deer Park on Tuesday, April 19.
Officers said he told the two boys, who are brothers, that he liked to drink urine and "taste kids’ spit.”
The children’s mother was in eyesight of the boys throughout the encounter and dialed 911 when they told her what Gunn said, according to the affidavit.
Deer Park Police Chief Col. Michael F. Schlie said in a Facebook post Wednesday that the children were not physically harmed in any way, and that Gunn was taken into custody once identified by the boys’ mother.
No other information was immediately available.
