COLERAIN TWP, Ohio — Colerain Police announced Wednesday they arrested three men for kidnapping and shooting a victim nine times on August 12, including three times in the head.

Court documents say 22-year-old Ricardo Meadows, 22-year-old Ryan Stoll and a 17-year-old suspect forced a man into the trunk of a car near 8451 Colerain Avenue and demanded $5,000. When the victim said he could not come up with the money, court docs said the victim was shut into the trunk while suspects drove for several hours before removing him from the trunk and suspects struck him multiple times.

Meadows and Stoll then allegedly forced the victim to walk into a wooded area at gunpoint, according to court documents. Once in the woods, the victim alleges Meadows and Stoll shot him multiple times at close range. Documents said the victim tried to run away, jumping over a fence and crossing a four-lane highway.

The documents say Meadows and Stoll chased him, before catching him on the other side of the highway; they then allegedly shot the victim three times in the head and left him on the side of the highway.

Colerain Police said the victim has recovered from his injuries.

All three suspects involved are charged with attempted murder, felonious assault, kidnapping, aggravated robbery and weapons-related charges.

Stoll is slated to be in court Thursday morning. Meadows appeared in court Wednesday morning and a judge set his bond at $1,500,000 total for all charges against him.
