COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Police are looking for the driver who hit a 10-year-old near Northwest High School Thursday morning, a Colerain Township dispatcher said.
The driver hit the boy at about 5:30 a.m. near the high school at 10761 Pippin Road. The driver left the scene in a black van.
Colerain Township Police Department spokesman Jim Love said the boy was responsive, and first responders transported him to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.

Officers are investigating why the boy was walking around so early in the morning, Love said.
There is no additional information regarding the driver.
