COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Ashley Furniture Store located in Northgate Mall is closing, according to a statement released by parent company Morris Furniture Co.
A closing sale begins at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 14.
Morris Furniture president Larry Klaben cited declining mall traffic and a growing number of store vacancies as reasons for closing the location.
All remaining stock at the Northgate Mall location will be sold with drastic reductions while the company prepares to reopen its newly-refurbished showroom at the Springdale Tri County furniture complex.
All Ashley associates will be wearing face coverings and customers are asked to do the same. Signs will be posted in the store to remind shoppers to remain a safe distance apart.
All employees will have their temperatures checked daily and capacity will be limited to below 50%
