COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- The family of Brody Allen, a 2-year-old boy whose struggle with terminal brain cancer prompted a community-wide early Christmas celebration, will hold a candlelight vigil in his memory on Wednesday.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the 7 p.m. vigil at 4200 Springdale Road, Brody’s father, Todd Allen, said.
Brody’s funeral, which will take place Saturday at First Church of Christ in Burlington, Kentucky, will also be partially open to the public. Allen said the family plans for a public visitation from 9 to noon followed by a short public service.
