CINCINNATI — A woman was arrested Thursday after a 6-year-old child in her care accidentally shot himself or herself while she slept, according to court documents.
Darnasia McKinney, 26, was arrested after she allegedly fell asleep and the child in her care shot themselves with an unlocked handgun. The condition of the child is not known at this time.
Police arrested McKinney and charged her with endangering children and receiving stolen property since the handgun the child shot himself or herself with was supposedly stolen.
Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputies are holding McKinney in the Justice Center on a total $50,000 bond for both of these charges.
