CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Police are investigating a shooting that injured four children Saturday evening, according to CPD spokesperson Lt. Stephen Saunders.
Police were called to Winton Hills, on Kings Run Drive, just before 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
According to police, four children between the ages of 12 and 15 were shot, but are in stable condition at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. They are all expected to recover.
Police said the victims are two boys and two girls and officials are not sure whether the shooting was targeted, or how the victims knew one another. Police are working to determine how many shots were fired, but said the shooting was a drive-by.
No specific suspect information has been released yet, but Cincinnati Police announced Sunday they believe suspects responsible were driving a dark-colored Ford Escape with a rear, driver's side taillight out.

"I don't know if it was a random act or if it was targeted, but just the fact that kids are out in that age range, if kids are out here they should be able to play safely," said Lt. David Sprague, with CPD. "And it is concerning that those acts of violence are occurring in our neighborhoods."
CPD said the city has cameras in the area where the shooting happened, and they are working to check those and nearby businesses for any footage that could provide information about the people responsible.
