CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Police are investigating a fatal shooting in the 2700 block of Montana Ave. Tuesday evening.

Authorities said there were three shooting victims, and one of the victims, 27-year-old Deontray Otis, died from his injuries. Two others were transported to University Hospital in critical condition.

Investigators said they're still working on figuring out what happened.

"Not a whole lot to go on with the situation. We certainly are canvassing the area right now, talking to any possible witnesses and looking at all possible surveillance cameras that might give us some inclination as to what happened," Cincinnati Police spokesperson Lt. Stephen Saunders said.

Police said they are looking for a black or green SUV in relation to the shooting.

"(It's) very concerning for anybody who lives here, I’m sure, and anybody who lives in this community," Saunders said. "Broad daylight, mid-afternoon and you have something like this happen -- it’s very concerning."

Montana Avenue and Westwood Northern Boulevard were closed for a short time but have since reopened to traffic.
