CINCINNATI -- Three people are displaced after a Westwood home caught fire Monday morning.
The fire broke out at about 6:15 a.m. at 2121 West Fork Road. A neighbor called 911 when they saw smoke coming from the roof. All three people inside were able to get out before first responders arrived. No one was hurt.
Firefighters had a hard time getting into the attic to control the fire, but they were able to extinguish the flames once they got into the attic. Damage is estimated at $40,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
