CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police said one person was killed and three others were injured in a crash in Westwood late Tuesday night.

Crews were dispatched to Harrison Avenue and Woodrow Avenue just before 11 p.m. for the report of a crash.

Police said a silver 2010 Ford Fusion east on Harrison Avenue crossed the center lines and struck a gray 2010 Ford Fusion traveling west.

A passenger in the gray Fusion, a 56-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police will not release his identity until family can be notified.

A 27-year-old passenger in the silver Fusion was seriously injured and rushed to UC Medical Center. The drivers in each vehicle sustained minor injuries.

Excessive speed appears to be a factor in the crash, but impairment does not, police said.

Any witnesses to the crash are asked to call the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at (513) 352-2514.
