CINCINNATI — A man who was shot in the West End Wednesday evening, died from his injuries at the hospital, according to the police.
Officers with the Cincinnati Police Department responded to the 500 block of Poplar Street around 9:30 p.m. for a shooting. Once on scene, they found 49-year-old James Douthit suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency personnel transported Douthit to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, but Douthit died at the hospital.
Police have not said if there are any suspects in this case, and they are investigating this incident as a homicide.
