CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati homecoming starts Friday, and the celebrations are sure to be even larger this year as the institute continues to commemorate their bicentennial.

Starting Friday night, current and former Bearcats and their families can gather at the Fifth Third Bank Arena for the Bicentennial Bash. Food, drinks and Graeter's ice cream will be served while the Sly Band and DJ ETrayn provide entertainment. Special moments in UC's history will also be celebrated and featured throughout the night.

Then things really kick into gear Saturday with the all-community homecoming parade at 11:30 a.m. The parade features more than 80 entries and will travel down Clifton Avenue.

After the parade, the capstone event is the football game where UC takes on the University of Connecticut in Nippert Stadium. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m., and tickets and game information can be found here. If you go to the game though, remember to wear red.

There are other events happening throughout the weekend, and a list of those events can be found here.
