CINCINNATI -- The streetcar collided with a Metro bus Friday afternoon, briefly disrupting service, according to a release from Brandy Jones, external affairs manager of Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority.
The release said the Cincinnati Bell Connector struck a Metro bus around 1:10 p.m. while heading southbound on Walnut Street near 5th Street. Service was stopped for about 20 minutes.
This is the second time the streetcar has collided with a Metro bus. The first incident occurred Nov. 1 and was also near Walnut and 5th Streets.
No injuries were reported, and the streetcar sustained minor damage.
The streetcar was also involved in an Oct. 12 collision with a motorist at the intersection of East Central Parkway and Main Street.
