CINCINNATI -- Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man early Wednesday morning in South Fairmount, according to Cincinnati police.
The suspect shot Ramerise Abernathy, 18, in the chest at about 1:45 a.m. near 2516 Hansford Place, police said. First responders tried to revive him, but he died at the scene.
Police do not have suspect information at this time. Neighbors reported hearing two to three gunshots in the area.

The shooting is the 10th homicide in Cincinnati in less than three weeks.
The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating.
