“In its short stay, SkyStar has already become a Greater Cincinnati tradition and a beautiful addition to Cincinnati’s skyline," Cynthia Oakley, director of Corporate and Community Events for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, said.

The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber estimates more than 100,000 people have ridden SkyStar since it arrived at the Banks in August.

“The people of Cincinnati have been so warm and welcoming. We’re thrilled to stay another six months,” Todd Schneider of SkyStar said.

SkyStar's hours of operation are:

  • 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday;
  • 4 p.m. to midnight Friday;
  • 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday;
  • 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The cost for one person to ride SkyStar is $12.50 and tickets can be bought here.
