CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Police Traffic Unit is investigating a crash in Riverside that killed one woman and seriously injured another Monday morning.
The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. on the 3400 block of River Road.
Police said the driver of a 2011 Toyota Camry heading eastbound went over the center line and struck a 1996 Ford Taurus heading the opposite direction.

The driver of the Taurus, 41-year-old Melissa Holder, sustained critical injuries and was transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She later died of her injuries.
The driver of the Camry was also transported to UC Medical Center, where she remains in serious condition.
Authorities said neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Speed and impairment have not been determined as factors in the crash at this time.
