CINCINNATI -- The iconic River Queen riverboat briefly drifted along the Ohio River without power, according to BB Riverboats.
Sales Manager Rick Menninger said no passengers were on board and the crew was without power for a few minutes Friday morning. The riverboat drifted from its docked location on Riverboat Row in Newport. The crew dropped an anchor to stop the riverboat near the Brent Spence Bridge.

There is no damage, Menninger said. The boat drifted under three bridges without colliding with any support beams. Another boat reached the River Queen to assist in the rescue. The River Queen was floating along the Ohio River unassisted by noon.
