CINCINNATI — A 63-year-old man was hit and killed by a vehicle while crossing West Eighth Street in Queensgate Friday evening, according to Cincinnati Police.
Police said the driver of a 2012 Ford Fusion hit Kenneth Hooper around 4:25 p.m. Friday evening. He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, but later died from his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle has not been charged with any crimes, but police said impairment could have been a factor in the crash. Officials are still investigating whether excessive speed was suspected to have played a part.
