CINCINNATI — Approximately 100 people gathered on the grass island in the middle of Central Parkway near Cincinnati Police District 1 headquarters on Ezzard Charles Drive, holding signs and chanting for police reform.
One of WCPO's reporters on the scene was handed a flier with the headline "Let's build a Socialist movement for Black liberation."

The document went on to list "prosecution of all killer cops" and "democratic oversight of public safety" among their stated goals.
As of 7:30 p.m., the protests remained peaceful and, so far, there have been no confrontations between protesters and police.
By 9 p.m., many protesters began to disperse as organizers announced they planned similar demonstrations Monday.
WCPO will update this story as we learn more.
