CINCINNATI -- If you're looking for more places to go eat and drink in Cincinnati a new plan could make that a possibility.
The plan would make Vine Street the dividing line in Over-the-Rhine for two new entertainment districts.
The plan would allow for more liquor permits that could spur more bar or restaurant development. Over-the-Rhine reached its cap of 15 liquor permits earlier this year.
The Cincinnati City Council will hear testimony about the plan in its neighborhoods committee on Tuesday.
The plan is being brought forward by businesses in the community.
The owners say dividing OTR into east and west entertainment districts would net another 15 permits.
The public is welcome to talk about the issue during open comments. The session will start at 1 p.m.
If the committee approves the plan, it would go before the full council.
